These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of expire365 (the "Service"), a web application for inventory and product expiry tracking for shops and households.
By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
expire365 provides tools to scan barcodes, manage stock across locations, track expiry dates, import delivery documents, receive alerts, and related features we may add over time.
We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service. Where a change materially reduces core functionality for paying customers, we will give reasonable notice when practical.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Organization (client) owners may invite team members and control access to their locations. Team members must use the Service only as authorized by their organization.
We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, pose a security risk, or remain inactive for a prolonged period.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service unlawfully or to infringe others' rights
- Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems without authorization
- Upload malware, scrape the Service aggressively, or overload our infrastructure
- Misuse barcode, OCR, photo, or notification features in a way that harms others
- Resell or sublicense the Service except as we expressly allow
4. Your content and data
You retain ownership of inventory data, product details, photos, and other content you submit ("Customer Data").
You grant us a limited license to host, process, back up, and display Customer Data solely to operate and improve the Service, provide support, and meet legal obligations.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit Customer Data and that it does not violate law or third-party rights.
5. Third-party sources
Product names, images, or catalog hints may come from third-party or public datasets. We do not guarantee that such information is complete, accurate, or up to date. Always verify critical product details yourself.
6. Alerts and notifications
Expiry alerts and push notifications depend on device settings, installation as a progressive web app where required, network connectivity, and correct inventory data. The Service is an aid, not a substitute for your own stock checks or food-safety practices.
7. Fees
Some features may be free; others may require a paid plan. Pricing, billing intervals, and included limits will be shown before you purchase or upgrade. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or otherwise stated at purchase.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, branding, software, and documentation are owned by the operator of expire365 or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of our intellectual property to you.
9. Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION, OR THAT EXPIRY ALERTS WILL ALWAYS PREVENT LOSS OR WASTE.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IN ANY TWELVE-MONTH PERIOD IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THAT PERIOD.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. Organization owners may request account closure via the in-app or public contact form.
Upon termination we may deactivate access and delete or anonymize Customer Data after a reasonable retention period, except where we must keep records by law.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. For material changes, we may provide additional notice in the app or by other reasonable means.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Bulgaria have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence provide otherwise.
14. Contact
For questions about these Terms, use the Contact form on the website or in the app. We will respond using the contact details you provide.
